Red-headed Woodpeckers are not common in Green-Wood. These pictures are all of a juvenile that spent part of the winter of 2017 but left before he molted in to the signature red head. They love the tiny acorns of the Pin Oaks.
There was one reported here in 2020 as well, but I never saw it.
